This afternoon has become a sad one for me. This is a tribute pic to our outdoor cat, BooBoo, who you all don't know [except maybe Anna. I showed a pic of him to her when we first met each other].

BooBoo was missing for some time, and today when my mom was fishing, she found something hidden beneath the deck/pier where our speedboat is hauled up for winter. Down there, she found the body of BooBoo. She wondered why it'd been smelling around the pier, and there were flies everywhere. This has made me sad... I'm wondering how he got down there in the first place. I think when he got down there, he couldn't find a way out, and drowned there when the water was high. That is only my guess. He may have been sick, and wanted to die somewhere where he wouldn't be found. We'll never know... We will have to get him out of there somehow.

This realistic sketch is a failure. I rushed it, so that's why the hairs shading is a mess. I know the photo and drawing don't look exactly the same. It usually takes a very long time to get it right, but I wanted to make the pic simple.

I will probably put it in scraps...

I will miss BooBoo.. right now, I'm thinking back to all those memories with him.
